Fiddle Dance Fun
First note: Auntie Susan made these adorable little tops for the kids. They resemble the Kuspuks that people wear out here. They love there little tops.
Second note: we went to the fiddle dance last night, and both kids were like dancing tazmanian devils. Sometimes Ruby was out there by herself swaying her hips and waving her arms, and sometimes Moxy would be in the corner stomping his feet. Ruby had a lot of fun with one boy named Michael. I was sitting in the bleachers and Greg was watching the kids on the floor, and I started hearing people say, "look at the that little girl, she has that boy in a headlock." Yes it was Ruby putting wrestling moves on this little boy. She had her legs wrapped around the boys belly and had both arms around his neck. She had the death grip on him. The little boy was laughing hard, and Ruby was trying to get him to "tap out." The people in the bleachers thought this was a funny scene, I felt both mortified and a little proud :).

Sheefish
This fish is considered a white fish and found when the salmon are not running. Our friend puts out a net under the ice on the river and caught a whole bunch of fish and gave us some. We had to call Dorothy our neighbor over to show us how to cut the fish. She showed Greg how to cut it with an Ulu.
End result a bowl full of fish.

Ladybug and Pumpkin
Moxy started out the tricker or treat adventure falling aleep on Greg. This was Greg's pumpkin hat when he was a little kid. Grandma S. made it probaly about 30 years ago.
Ruby went as a little lady bug. She met a little girl named Evelyn who lived two doors down. Evelyn was a lady bug too!
Grandma S. took us to every door up and down the street of where she knew people. I got lots of candy too!

Sidewalks in Rochester
I forgot how nice it is to play on sidewalks. This is Greg's, Laura's and Andrew's old little red wagon, it sqeaked a little but Ruby and Moxy really liked it. Moxy would hold on tight and smile when we pushed him....
...he smiled less when Ruby pushed him, but he didn't cry. Ruby acted like a big shot sister pushing her little brother around in the wagon.
Eventually Moxy wanted to walk with Ruby and the wagon. He eventually learned to push the wagon himself with a little help.
