Lots of Energy

Moxy and Ruby are starting to learn how to work the camera.



Moxy has learned how to stand up without any help. He especially likes to get up to the bars of the gate and hold on like a little monkey. He is getting more and more coordinated.


Ruby is trying to teach Moxy how to wave at the camera. More and more the two of them are playing and interacting together. Ruby needs some help in learning how to be nice and share, but overall she really seems to love him. Sometimes her love looks like it hurts though, and we have to make sure she is gentle with him.

Down by the river

Ruby grabbed her friend's hand and wouldn't let go. We went to a work gathering at the fish camp. Ruby was into everything especially the dirt. It was a mostly bug free day because there was a good breeze.

This was the only time that Moxy cried. He didn't like the life jacket. When we were on the boat ride. His eyes got really big as it bumped over the river waves.

Rain Dancing

Ruby is rain dancing on the back porch. We came out to see the big lightening storm in the distance.

Happy 4th of July!-Our Independence

We are headed to Pinky's Park. I get to play softball all day. A veteran man was talking to us.

Greg and Andrew waiting for the parade to start. This is the actual first time that we have seen the parade. The black hawk helicopters flew by at different angles. They looked like they were going to crash, pretty freaky...they are professional though.


It was like "Mardi Gras" in Bethel. Candy, jewelry, toothbrushes, and balls were chucked at us during the big celebration. Ruby became upset because she could not pick up the stuff fast enough. It is weird because she knew what to do when it was thrown.

"Really" Helpful

Ruby seems to really enjoy helping around the house, especially doing dishes. She just pushes the bench right up to the sink and then turns on the water...and away she goes!
